BlackBerry released the BlackBerry Curve 9360 deals to a reasonable amount of acclaim having had a successful launch of the new Torch and the Bold models. The new Curve model generated enough interest due to the fact it was a device that would encompass many of the premium BlackBerry’s improvements though would be a lower price device.

The BlackBerry 9360 looks nearly as good as many of the premium level BlackBerry phones and is a attractive device with mixture of nice plastics and chromes. It also feels very nice and the new QWERTY keyboard is specifically a very nice point on the phone. The buttons feel strong and react at an easy touch, yet feel solid and give a sense of joy in their pressing and when typing fast.

BlackBerry has added a 2.44inch screen to the front of the phone and we must say it looks quite good and is a huge improvement on the previous screens of the Curve phones. The resolution is 480×320p and we can say it is certainly an improvement, though is not a patch on many of the more impressive Android screens on offer.

The phone comes with a fairly capable 800MHz chip underneath its skin and so is capable of processing a decent amount of information and also of multitasking and most apps. This is also a leap and a huge plus for BlackBerry fans, who now have a device that is also most as fast as many of the best mid range Android phones.

BlackBerry’s new OS the OS7 is another positive for an owner of the device and it is another jump at Android, making its mark on the phone and certainly is a positive. The addition of a new camera in the form of a 5mp shooter that is capable of taking 720p footage is also a plus and we must say we think it is one of the best in the market.

The device offers good internet connection and though the phone is not a touch screen one the optical tracker pad is quite good and you should have no problems with browsing or any other things they will need to move around the screen for.

The device is a pretty one, which is also more than capable due to its increase in processing power. Add to this some street credibility and BBM messaging and you are sure to have one mobile phone deal that is going to be popular.

Mexico is a fast developing nation. Mexico’s communication network is one of the most advanced and extensive in Latin America. Though, landlines will never reach the penetration levels like in USA or Europe, mobile telephony has flourished in Mexico and is now very popular means of communication.

Mexico has a whole range of telephone services – reliable landline telephone services, GSM, 3G mobile technology and high-speed internet (ADSL) services.

One of the mobile heavyweights in Mexico is Telmex which has almost a vice like grip. This monopoly means that telephone charges are higher by U.S. standards. Telmex’s clout has ensured that no other significant companies have been able to make any sort of dent in the market.

In recent years, with advent of newer technologies like VoIP, people have started using Skype and similar services to bring down long distance costs.

To the credit of Telmex, their network is quite extensive. Most of the country is covered and you will not face difficulty in communication. Telmex has brought new technologies, like high-speed internet etc.

In virtually every aspect of business forward planning is vital to the success of a company and its all round proficiency. Corporations who don’t have a forward plan in position can regularly find the business production slowing, or even pausing entirely, if an unforeseen scenario transpires. This can commonly trigger lost custom and lost revenue which could have a critical impact on the business all round. The truth of this shines especially bright when contemplating the importance of telecommunications to the present day business. Forward planning can provide firms with an advantage that allows them to be resilient to what would usually be devastating situations.

There are telephone systems for small business which have been designed specifically to the requirements of the small business. By selecting a system which is best suited to the company, the business can make sure that the phone system is able to expand with the needs of the business. Without such adaptability a business can be seriously constrained in its telecoms capacity at a later stage when the organisation has grown considerably. In order to ensure that their is absolutely no need to modify a telephone system in future years, it’s important that a young company chooses the most adaptable and expandable telephone systems for small business available. To make sure that systems that can grow with a firm instead of restrict it are in place, a business should ensure that proper forward planning is in position.

Business continuity planning is furthermore, a crucial component when it comes to telecommunications. Business continuity planning ensures that regular business procedures can carry on in the aftermath of a crisis whether specific to the business, regional or even national. Such disasters might include natural disasters such as fires, earthquakes and hurricanes or even man made disasters like war, severe crime or riots. But, business continuity planning can guarantee that the company can proceed to operate at the greatest possible capacity, regardless of the dilemma or crisis. Business continuity planning makes sure that telecommunications are still going to be available in the event of an emergency. Granted now and again this will not be possible, but this forward planning can prevent interruption as much as possible. Also, such planning will ensure that added capacity is obtainable if this would be required in the event of a local, regional or national emergency.

Although forward planning is vital to every aspect of a business, preparing in advance for events whether expected or unprecedented in the area of telecommunications is critical to businesses survivability. Whether such a minute issue as planning for the expansion of a phone system, or for the possibility of a great natural disaster, business continuity planning will ensure that practices are in place to handle every unprecedented scenario. Forward planning permits every negative situation to be handled quickly and efficiently, so that normal operations can continue as soon as possible.

The iPhone 3GS, released in the summer of 2009, is one of the most anticipated mobile phones ever released and at the time, probably the most remarkable. This phone could do almost everything you could expect for a mobile phone and in terms of applications, operating system and the technology used to make up features such as the ultra sharp display there were few rivals.

A year later though this seemed to be a problem for the iPhone’s creator Apple as they would have to pull something really special out of the bag to match or better the triumphs of the 3GS. What they did pull out of the bag was the imaginatively titled iPhone 4, a phone that managed to live up to its billing and more so, breaking all of the records that it’ predecessor had set the year before.

The phone looks absolutely fantastic, as you would expect from Apple’s award winning design department. The curved back of the 3GS is gone, making the iPhone even slimmer than it was before at just 0.37 inches, the slimmest smart phone on the market. The antennae is placed inside an “uninsulated steel frame” that is reportedly 4 times stronger than normal stainless steel, so it should prove extremely durable.

Keeping up the idea of using the best possible technology to make up the phone’s components, the phones screen is located between two sheets of aluminosilicate glass which is apparently what is used for the windscreens of the best helicopters and high speed trains, so you needn’t worry about your phone travelling at high speed or in high altitudes, phew!

The phone also has a very accomplished camera, something that is extremely important to many people when deciding on a phone and with the huge amount of great editing software that you can download from the iTunes app store it means that snapping away on the 5 megapixel camera is just the very start of your photographic adventure. This and many more reasons is just why the iPhone4 should be remembered as a more than worthy successor to the 3GS.

The Sony Ericsson Naite is the first phone from the manufacturer that’s released under the banner of being an environmentally-friendly phone. Barring that bit of green marketing (which can turn off a lot of people), it’s actually a pretty decent device.

Being bandied as an eco-friendly number, it’s prudent to get the green credentials out of the way. The body is built from aluminum and recycled plastic, the packaging is similarly drawn from recycled sources (no paper manual too) and it ships with a power-efficient charger. That’s it.

The Naite is a very straightforward handset – no fancy frills (save for that bit of green washing, of course). Looks are industrial and quite dated (it’s reminiscent of their designs from five years ago), but it’s presentable. It sports a good-looking 2.2-inch LCD, with bright colors and sharp images. The keypad, on the other hand, is sufficiently-sized and handles very well.

As a phone, it managed very good voice calls, facilitating clear-sounding conversations. The speakerphone is also decent, but lacked a bit more volume. Being a green-marketed phone, it boasts an incredible battery life that’s rated at up to 14 hours of talk time. On regular use, I wouldn’t be surprised if this lasts you between six to eight days. Seriously.

Sony Ericsson didn’t skimp too much on the modern features either, equipping the phone with 3G connectivity, allowing you to surf the web at HSDPA speeds and use your carrier’s various broadband offerings. Music player is basic, but manages good sound, provided you have an adapter for the audio jack (it uses a proprietary one and ships with earbuds that aren’t very good). There’s an FM radio thrown in too.

It comes with all the basic capabilities as most Sony Ericsson phones, including web email, MMS, PlayNow Arena and stereo Bluetooth. The 2.0 megapixel camera module is decent and takes average quality shots. By the way, it supports regular microSD cards, so getting extra media into the device is easy.

Overall, the Sony Ericsson Naite is a pretty good phone. The straightforward UI, 3G support and extended battery life are all excellent. If they priced it reasonably (they didn’t – it sells anywhere from $250 to $320 unlocked, depending on the country), it would work even without the whole green angle.

Just like Sony Ericsson’s watch accessory from some time ago, the In Pulse Blackberry Smart watch puts updates and controls for your RIM smart phone right on your wrist. It operates wire lessly, so you can keep the phone on your pocket while slyly checking everything with a quick glance at your arm.

The sexy-looking accessory sports a 1.3-inch OLED screen with a glass lens cover, which should be enough display real estate to show off emails, texts and various updates without having to bring out the phone. You can filter messages that pop up on the device, too, so you can set the watch to respond strictly to important alerts.

Most small pieces of information that can be viewed on the Blackberry can be pushed to show on the phone, including Twitter updates, RSS feeds and weather reports. You’ll still have to bust out the handset to respond to messages and calls, but at least, you don’t have to look rude when checking on any of them.

The In Pulse Blackberry Smart watch comes in a full metal body, with 51 x 38 x 12 mm dimensions, and a 22mm wristband. It houses a vibrating motor (so you never miss a call again), a rechargeble lithium-ion battery (150 mAh, good for four days) that charges via micro USB and Bluetooth. Users will need to run a free download able app on their Blackberry so it can interface with the watch. All settings and configurations are entered from the handset UI.

Slated to ship in February 2010, it’s now available for pre-order at $149 a pop.

When you want to buy a new phone you always have to make the decision as to whether or not you will buy online. Buying things online was something that a few people didn’t like doing going back a few years, but nowadays the level of security for your transactions online has become so good that people don’t really give this issue any consideration any more, and you are probably just as likely to have your details taken from you as you withdraw cash from the hole in the wall as you are when buying online. One of the things that you should make sure you do when you buy phones online is to make sure that you buy through a reputable phone company so that you can be confident that your credit card details aren’t going to go missing!

Obviously the great thing about buying online is that you can often find cheap phones that would be more costly if you bought them on the high street. You can expect to pay quite a bit less money when you buy this way, and of course the whole process can be a lot more straight forward too and it is sure to save you some time. Again, you have to remember to use a swell known mobile phone company to buy through, such as http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/ to make sure that your money is safe and of course to make sure that you have a great deal on the phone!

The Motorola Olympus is the phone that Motorola has such a lot of faith in lately. This is because Motorola has seen its market share slide out from its record-breaking numbers previously and most of it has to be attributed to the competition that has significantly grown in size and stature. Motorola has tried to keep up with the competition launching the likes of Motorola Milestone 2 and Motorola Droid 2. However, it seems that it was not enough and now Motorola are getting ready to launch their ultimate weapon, the Motorola Olympus.

This new phone could be seen as the device that makes Motorola once again the world leader in mobile phone technology. The Motorola Olympus packs in features that would ultimately see Motorola crowned back to the top. As said previously, one of the main highlight features of this phone is the dual core processor that it employs. This new processor means that you get a never before seen speed on a mobile phone and that is perfect for running and operating the Android 2.2 version operating system. It also means that you can run nearly all the high end applications that the popular Android OS supports. The phone has a 4.1 inch display, which just shades ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S in size.

You get an 8 megapixel camera in the phone. This is the rear camera and there is also a front facing one for video chatting. However, video chatting aside the best feature with regard to the camera is the full HD video recording option. This means that you can now enjoy 1080 p videos from the phone’s camera. You can also share these videos or enjoy this video on a large screen by using the built-in HDMI port. If all goes according to plan the Motorola Olympus will be launched early next year.

The I Phone is all you hear about these days when it comes to phones, but to be honest, once you have used one of them you can understand why pretty instantly. The only real criticism you could have had about the 3gs was that it didn’t have a great camera, but the 4 really does sort this problem out once and for all. It may only have a 5 mega pixel camera, which is not quite up there in terms of megapixels as some of the mobile phones on the market right now, but the quality of the lens and the operation of the camera more than makes up for this, and you will find that you really can take great pictures with the phone. You will also find just about every other area of the phone has improved, and the slight redesign somehow makes it look so much more modern than the old I Phone.

Talking about the new I Phone is easy, but finding one to buy is not always so easy. When these first came out they sold out in so many stores it was seriously difficult getting hold of one, but supply issues seem to have been sorted to a certain extend, although problems still remain at times. To find Apple mobile phones you should try some of the larger online phone shops such as Phones4u who generally have a good stick and some great prices across the networks.

HTC Corporation, a global designer of smartphones and long-time Microsoft partner, unveiled five new Windows Phone 7 smartphones: HTC 7 Surround, HTC 7 Mozart, HTC 7 Trophy, HTC 7 Pro and HTC HD7. This strong and diverse family of phones features Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 platform and embodies the stand-out design and innovation for which HTC has come to be known. Each new phone includes a variety of cutting-edge technologies and a series of unique HTC applications that can be accessed through the new HTC Hub that complements the Windows Phone 7 Hub and Tile experience.

“Windows Phone 7 is an entirely fresh mobile experience, on which HTC is excited to be going big. We see tremendous customer opportunities with the integration of Microsoft’s most popular services like Xbox LIVE and Zune,” said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation. “The value Microsoft is bringing to mobile customers around the world sets a new benchmark for the industry. HTC will be introducing five new HTC Windows Phone 7 smartphones at launch to support our customers with a broad variety of choice.”

“HTC has been a partner with Microsoft since we launched our first phones nearly a decade ago, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue this journey with the launch of Windows Phone 7,” said Andy Lees, President of the Mobile Communications Business at Microsoft. “Windows Phone 7 characterizes a new direction for Microsoft and its partners, and HTC is stepping up to support this in a significant way by bringing five new Windows Phones to market.”

Windows Phone 7

Windows Phone 7 has been carefully crafted to help people get more done in fewer steps with a unique Hub and Tile interface. The Windows Phone 7 Hubs offer quick and easy access to a person’s latest and most valuable information and include People, Pictures, Games, Music & Video, Office and Marketplace content. Windows Phone 7 also integrates with many popular Microsoft consumer services such as Xbox LIVE, Windows Live, Bing and Zune.

HTC Windows Phone 7 portfolio

HTC has brought its innovative design and creativity to its new Windows Phone 7 smartphone portfolio by embracing distinctive materials and unique design elements while providing an exciting set of cutting-edge features and technologies. With the new HTC Hub, HTC is providing an exclusive series of applications and utilities that include a new weather and stocks application and a new photo enhancer that enables a person to apply special effects before sharing photos with friends.

HTC 7 Surround

Whether it be gaming, movies or music, HTC 7 Surround is the ultimate multimedia device. With a unique slide-out speaker and integrated kickstand with integrated Dolby Mobile™ and SRS WOW HD™, the HTC 7 Surround delivers high-fidelity audio and virtual surround sound that enable people to share their favorite music and videos with their friends in style. No longer are they forced to use headphones for a great surround sound experience because the HTC 7 Surround speaker makes the listening experience natural and comfortable.

HTC 7 Mozart

Crafted from a single piece of anodized aluminum, the HTC 7 Mozart feels great in the hand and takes HTC’s unibody design aesthetic to the next level. The slim, solid and smart HTC 7 Mozart sounds as good as it looks and integrates Dolby Mobile™ and SRS WOW HD™ for high-fidelity, virtual surround sound. With Microsoft Zune integration, people can synchronize the HTC 7 Mozart with their PC, enabling them to take their music and video library with them wherever they go.

HTC 7 Trophy

HTC 7 Trophy harnesses the power of Xbox LIVE. Gamers will enjoy the speed and responsiveness of fast action gameplay supported by the phone’s high-performance 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and controlled through the vivid WVGA 3.8″ touchscreen. High-fidelity, virtual surround sound – through SRS WOW HD™ – brings a rich audio experience whether the user is playing a game, watching a video or listening to their favorite music.

HTC 7 Pro

The development of the HTC 7 Pro was inspired by power users who want to combine the ultimate in business efficiency with the ability to take full advantage of their leisure time. The sleek handset slides opens and tilts to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard for fast, comfortable typing, while productivity features such as the ability to sort, scan and manage Outlook email, open and edit the latest Office documents on the phone and keep track of the markets with HTC’s stocks application, offer new ways to maximize the business day.

HTC HD7

HTC HD7 owners can enjoy their favorite videos and movies in cinematic-style thanks to the large 4.3″ high-resolution screen, while its kickstand allows them to sit back and enjoy the action handsfree. For those who refuse to compromise on their mobile gaming experience, the HTC HD7 realizes the power of Xbox LIVE, bringing gameplay to life in a way that takes console gaming beyond the home.

When the E-Series was first released, Nokia’s main aim was to target Office Workers, but nowadays, the demands for multimedia in the corporate sector too, has increased by several fold. Hence came the Nokia E7. Nokia’s attempt to realize what the current generation wants has really paid off, and has helped in inventing this incredible piece of technology.

The Nokia E7 not only edges its competitors by having every top of the line multimedia related feature today, but also does a great job by being a productive unit, especially with the new Symbian ^3 powering it.

Looking at its design, people can be fooled into believing that this phone is no different from the N8. It does in fact hold a striking resemblance with the N8 and the C7.

Also this is the first touchscreen phone to be introduced in the E-series, so it greatly deviates from the traditional bar phone broad keypad model structure of others in the E-series. The body design is quite trendy and appealing.

There’s a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which tilts the 4 inch Amoled screen at an inclination, for an improved viewing pleasure.

With a 8 Mega Pixel camera, and support for 720p HD Video Recording, the multimedia features are definitely going to make a huge difference in the success of the E7. Image Quality and Video Quality are both pretty decent.

The new Symbian ^3 OS improves productivity significantly, as it’s not only much faster in performance, but also much more responsive to the touchscreen. The Web browser now supports flash and even has a handy new inbuilt RSS reader, along with several other improvements. Improved support for Social Networks like Twitter and the Ovi Apps Store also contributes along with the hardware, providing the E7 with a pleasing overall performance.

The battery life is standard, giving upto 450 hours of Standby Time and Talktime of 9 hours on 2G and 5 hours on 3G.

On a final note, it must be said that the Nokia E7 is indeed a bright addition to the E-Series with its new innovative features, and is expected to perform well in the market. You can find the E7 and Nokia C7 by comparing phone deals online.

The U.S. Army is giving out free iPhone and Android devices to several hundred new recruits, as part of a new test program aimed at improving the efficiency of basic training.

The Army will give away free iPhones and Evo devices to new recruits, in addition to paying their monthly plan.

The program will experiment with more effective basic training methods, such as automatic updates for field manuals, and allowing recruits to download and read manuals on their smartphones during downtime or at meals.

A contest known as “Apps for the Army” had recently challenged developers to take the lead in creating effective applications for military use. The winning apps included a physical training program, a tele-health mood tracker, a disaster relief application, a movement projection tool for mapping routes and a program that offers information to potential new recruits.

Among all 15 winners, ten were built using Android and the remaining five for the iPhone.

“The Army and some of the other services, including the Marine Corps, are considering hosting other contests and are in discussions to collaborate with commercial developers,” said Lt. Gen Jeffrey Sorenson, the Army’s chief information officer. “Additionally, the Army could deploy smartphones to soldiers in the field as soon as next year.”

The use of commercial devices can be risky from a military perspective. For example, there have been reported cases of hackers being able to potentially determine a device’s location, so some considerations still have yet to be made.

But the advancements in efficiency in technology offer a host of substantial benefits.

In July, defense contractor Raytheon was reportedly developing new software that combines maps with a buddy list to help soldiers in the battlefield find enemies using Android smartphones.

Toshiba has launched Canivo backup drives for Mac, which may emerge as a substitute for Apple’s troubled Time Capsule backup device which is facing data-loss problems, if the device shuts down unexpectedly.

Toshiba introduced on Tuesday Canivo portable hard drive to support Mac operating systems with capacities of 500GB, 750GB and ITB priced at $99.99, $119.99 and $139.99 respectively.

It enables consumers store largest digital libraries on their hard drives. The 500GB can store up to 142,000 digital photos, or 131,000 digital music files, or 410 downloaded digital movies while 750GB is capable of storing up to 214,000 digital photos, or 197,000 digital music files, or 610 downloaded digital movies. But the largest of them all 1TB supports up to 285,000 digital photos, or 263,000 digital music files, or 820 downloaded digital movies.

The Canvio drives are preloaded with NTI Shadow 5 for Mac software giving the users the ease to backup and synchronize the data in hard drives. One can secure the backup files with password protected data encryption up to 256-bit in order to prevent data theft. Also, Canvio hard drives have internal shock sensor and ramp loading technology to help protect users drive and data. One key feature is that the hard drive keeps a copy of everything saved on the user’s computer.

The timing is likely to help Toshiba push its product as Apple is facing major issues over defects in its Time Capsule.

Samsung Apps, which was launched in September 2009 in countries including the UK, France, Germany and Italy, is now available in 109 markets worldwide, including 34 countries across Europe.

However, the manufacturer is still some way behind Apple. In January this year, Apple announced that three billion applications had been downloaded for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Samsung is now planning to drive the creation of more ‘locally-customised applications’. It will also integrate relevant local information, designed to ‘reflect cultural characteristics and provide a more enriching, tailored service’ to users globally.

Samsung said it will continue to drive Samsung Apps by introducing further bada-powered devices, following the Samsung Wave, the first smartphone based on Samsung’s own bada platform.

Shopping has never been so easy, thanks to the World Wide Web. All you need to do these days is go online and choose. But what really gets you the best deal is not so much choosing the right phone; it is more about choosing the right place to get it from. Of course there are loads of websites that promise you the best deals. But is it always not best to depend upon the most reliable of the websites. When it comes to mobile phones, the best move for you go be to click on the following link Dialaphone.co.uk.

How, you would wonder, would Dialaphone be the best option for you? Dialaphone would be the best option for you as the buying experience from them is truly something you can expect to be up to the highest standards. But how is that? Let us begin with the first step of buying a phone. You need to choose the right set. How do you do that? Well here at Dialaphone you have a space for detailed review of each of the sets that are available in the market. The quotations of prices are also given in the website. And along with the prices there are also the various discount offers mentioned at Dialaphone.co.uk

This allows you to compare and make the right kind of decision.

Well after you have made the decision, you are again given a plethora of choices as to how you would pay. You could opt for the ‘Pay as You Like’ mode, which means that you can pay for the phone, get it, and be done with it. If you preferred so, they even allow you to make payments by monthly installments. You might even get some great discount if you got your phone from here. And some of the times, depending on the terms of your contract you could earn some cash saver cards like the ‘Free rental’ or ‘half rental free’. And that is just not all. You would also earn for your self some free gifts like the laptop or iPad. Obviously you would get no better deal anywhere else.

And after you make the purchase, they still stick by you. Once your deal is finalized you get a special technical assistant team from Dialaphone to help you out with installing the mobile phone. This technical team is there with you just not for an hour or so, but for a whole 28 days. This means that their customer service is also something that is quite commendable. Not to mention, you get all these services online.

To be honest it can be one of the most difficult places to find mobile phones, purely because there are so many to consider, but once you have a better idea of how to cut the wheat from the chaff, you stand a great chance of landing a really good phone and contract. First of all, your best bet is to completely ignore any companies that you have never heard of before. There are plenty of people on the internet looking for a quick buck out of a naïve person, so just don’t let that person be you! Always check out the credentials of any company who you are planning to buy a product off, and make sure you really read the contract from top to bottom, no matter how tedious it seems. The best bet really is to avoid any company that you don’t know has a good reputation, and that way you know that you are reasonably safe. I always like to use http://www.dialaphone.co.uk because I know they are reliable and cheap.

Once you find a decent supplier, then you need to start thinking about the phone itself. Try to stick to fairly new models, and make sure you read reviews of any phone you are even considering buying. You should be able to find plenty of neutral reviews online, so there is no excuse for not doing this! You can Click here and find the latest deals on contract phones that might suit you.

Papermaster, who’s previously worked for IBM for more than 20 years, was lured to Apple by Jobs last year, prompting IBM to try to stop the move on fears he would give away the family secrets. IBM though settled teh issues and he joined Apple in April 2009.

HTC’s Android phones were runaway hits. Nexus One and HTC legend got accolades from consumers and critics alike. So for any new phone from HTC Android’s stable the challenge is clear and visible. Andrioid market is getting crowded with many companies offering superb phones. So can the new HTC Desire measure up to the geeks’ expectations?

The answer is a resounding YES! HTC desire does all that and more. HTC desire has taken all the best points of its predecessors and is the next stage of evolution for Android phones by HTC. The Desire has a 3.7 inch screen that’s larger, clearer and sharper than the HTC Legend’s. Instead of Nexus One’s trackball, Desire has an optical trackpad. Desire also features a raised, click-sensitive navigation buttons. This is huge sigh of relief because the flat touch-sensitive buttons of Nexus One are not that popular.

HTC has taken note of what has worked and not worked in its earlier phones and has improved on them.

Now for mundane matters such as call quality. It is excellent. Reception is superb. Picture and video quality are also good. Desire’s 5 mp camera takes sharp images. The phone though needs proper lighting if you want to click great photos because some pictures may not be rich in color and will not measure up to a standalone digital camera under improper lighting. It does have a bright flash for night time photography. Conclusion, camera is not that great but good enough for most of the people.

HTC Desire’s screen provides great clarity thanks to 240 Dpi but under sun, viewing movies and playing games is impossible. The video formats supported by Desire are MP4, WMV though DivX support is lacking.

Desire performs well and loads apps quite quickly. The interface is friendly; processor is power packed and gives exceptional call quality which makes it the best Android phone till now.
